What is the CROS / BiCROS system in hearing aids?

The CROS system is a specialized solution designed for individuals who have severe or total hearing loss in one ear, while the other ear maintains normal or functional hearing. In such cases, a traditional hearing aid cannot effectively serve the non-functional ear, as it is unable to amplify sounds that the auditory system cannot process. This is where the CROS system
provides an effective solution.

Its operation is simple yet based on advanced transmission technology that works wirelessly and precisely with the hearing aid of the other ear, delivering a natural and clear listening experience. This way, sounds coming from the side of the non-functional ear are transmitted to the better ear, allowing the user to perceive the full sound environment.
